I am an engineering manager. I build software products, engineering teams, and whatever else is needed to improve people's lives.
I believe technical leadership means staying close to both the technology and the people building it. I contribute to code and architecture while creating the clarity, trust, and autonomy engineers need to grow and take ownership. That means mentoring when experience helps, but more often listening, asking good questions, and coaching. I am particularly drawn to the Socratic method and the principles of servant leadership.
Most recently, I was an engineering manager at Qustodio, building products that help schools and families navigate digital life more safely. Earlier, I co-founded eReuse.org, a sustainability-focused platform that helps extend the useful life of digital devices.
I also collaborate with universities on research into societal and organizational problems, and teach programming and management at universities and NGOs. I find beauty in solving complex problems—and in sharing what I learn while learning from others.
I am currently exploring my next engineering leadership role, where I can help build meaningful products and a strong, thoughtful team. If that sounds like a challenge we could take on together, I would be happy to hear from you.
